| Directions: |
- Take US-23 North from
Ann Arbor (or South from
Brighton)
- Take Exit 49 (N.
Territorial Road)
- Head west for 11 miles
and turn right on Dexter-Townhall
Road
- The entrance to the park
is well marked and will be
on your left
- Unless you already have
an annual State Park Motor
Vehicle Permit, you'll need
to stop on the way in and
purchase either a day pass
($6 for MI residents, $8 for
non-residents) or the annual
pass ($24 for residents, $29
for non-residents).
- Follow the signs to
Silver Lake.
- Drive past the first
parking lot on your right,
continuing on to the far
parking lot.
Alternate route from Huron
Scuba (Jackson Road, west of
downtown):
- From the shop, go west
on Jackson Road for 1/2 mile
and get on I-94 at the Zeeb
Road interchange. (Or, just
continue west on Jackson
Road another 2 miles.)
- Take Exit 167 (Baker
Road), go North on Baker
Road about 3 miles to
Dexter.
- Turn left on Ann Arbor
St, then bear left on Main
Street, and go straight on
Island Lake Road.
- After about 0.3 mile,
bear right on
Dexter-Pinckney Road and
drive 3.6 miles.
- Turn left on North
Territorial Road and drive
2.3 miles.
- Turn right on Dexter-Townhall
Road, and follow directions
from park entrance above.
