Rental Gear and Rates

We rent a full range of scuba equipment for local or traveling divers. We believe in a “Try and Buy” method – so our rental fleet includes top-of-the-line gear as well as “pretty good” gear – no low-end discards here!

Nearly all of our rental BCD’s are weight-integrated models from SCUBAPRO and SeaQuest, with a few Dive Rite Transpacs and Halcyon MC Systems for divers who want to try a more technically oriented BCD. We have a range of ladies’ BCD’s in rental too, so there’s no reason to use a “one-size-fits-all” unisex BCD. All our rental regulators have primary, octopus, inflator hose, and gauge console WITH COMPASS. Over half are high end regulators with adjustable second stages, and we have a dozen or more with dive computer consoles. Reserve early and you can even rent one of our several air-integrated computers!

Our popular rental credit program has helped plenty of divers, new and experienced, get into new or upgraded equipment. Here’s how it works: just purchase a similar item within 7 days of returning your rental, and you’ll get your item rental fee back off your purchase. For instance, if you spend $20 to rent a thick wetsuit for a local dive, then purchase a tropical full suit within 7 days of returning your rental, you’ll get $20 off your purchase – even though it’s a different style! This works in addition to any current sale specials or package discounts!

Our students and Preferred Customers get a 25% discount off our already reasonable rental rates. Rent for the day, the weekend, or the week. Picking up on Friday, returning on Tuesday (we’re closed Mondays)? No problem – our generous weekend is good for all four days!

We rent:

Regulators (with analog or dive computer console)
Dive computers (wrist mount)
Buoyancy compensators (standard or weight integrated)
Wetsuits (2-piece 7mm wetsuits or tropical fullsuits and shorties)
Drysuits (top-of-the-line complete DUI systems with Rock Boots and insulation)
Cylinders (plenty of air and nitrox Aluminum 80’s, with a limited number of steels, pony bottles, and argon systems available for rent – reserve these well in advance!)
Weights & belts (soft lead & pocket belts)
Hoods (7/5mm with bib)
Mesh gear bags
Underwater cameras (35mm point & shoot; you supply batteries & film)
Dive light (primary lights; you supply batteries)
Spare Air systems
Videos (course videos for selected classes)
