ReActivate (Skills Refresher)

Get underwater and shake the rust off of your scuba skills with this one-session refresher! If you haven’t dove in the past year, it’s strongly recommended you participate in a refresher before jumping into the open water on your vacation or during one of our local dives. (Some resort dive operators require it!)

The ReACTIVATE program starts with the online study portion that needs to be completed before we move onto the in-water review. The pool session is designed for review & practice of basic scuba skills, including buoyancy control, mask and regulator skills, and entry/exit skills.  We will also go over any other skills that you want to work on before your next adventure.

After successful completion of our PADI ReACTIVATE program you will also get a new certification card that will show your ReACTIVATED date and more importantly – A NEW PHOTO!  This is the best way to get ready for your next adventure, and will finally give you a chance to burn your old certification card (you know, the one where you had that awesome 80s hairdo that you have denied you ever had to all your dive buddies).

Private sessions can be scheduled to meet your needs, from help with a particular skill to a “super-refresher” for divers who have been out of the water for an extended time. Email or speak with Huron Scuba’s owner – Brian Bondy for scheduling.

For those who have been out of the water for more than 5 years or who are looking for a more in depth program, call the shop and ask for details on our SUPER REFRESHER program.
