PADI Divemaster

PADI Divemasters lead dives & dive trips, work at tropical resorts & local dive shops, and assist during training courses. Many DM’s continue on to earn their Instructor rating. This course includes certification as a PADI Divemaster once requirements for PADI are met. 40-50 hours of class & pool work plus open water, training scenarios and simulations and other internship requirements. Prerequisites:

Minimum 40 dives in varied environments to start the course. Excellent scuba & swimming skills required. Advanced Scuba DiverScuba Rescue Diver, Current First Aid/CPR certification.  Recommended additional training: Nitrox Diver, Equipment SpecialistDry Suit DiverDeep Diver,Search and Recovery Diver.

Equipment provided by student:

Personal snorkeling equipment and complete scuba diving equipment. Must be personally owned; may not be rented or borrowed.

Equipment provided by Huron Scuba:

First aid and emergency oxygen kits.

Course cost:

$1499 per student. Includes DM Crewpack, eLearning Code and all AIR fills during training.

Deposit:

$500 deposit secures your position in the program and you can get started on the homework right away.

Required books & materials:

PADI Divemaster Crewpack with eCode for digital homework (included).

Additional expenses:

Park / quarry entry fees,

PADI registration fees once completed.

Professional Liability Insurance (required to be in active status once completed).
