Local Diving

Join the Huron Scuba Dive Team on its Fun Dive schedule with plenty of events year-round. These include simple weekly evening dives, organized quarry dives, chartered boat diving to the well-preserved shipwrecks of the Great Lakes, and trips to other diving related events. If you are reading this, you’re already a member of the Huron Scuba Dive Team. Let’s go diving! Call the shop at (734) 994-3483 or email to sign up.  There’s no charge, but you’re encouraged to tip the Divemasters when you participate.

Spring Mill Pond Dives:  Meet Divemasters Jeff and Alex each Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm at the Spring Mill Pond pavilion at Island Lake State Recreation Area (Google map link) for our “Wednesdays with Wigz” local fun dive. The visibility isn’t great and the water is cold, but we always have a great dive.  As we like to say, “No viz? No problem!”  Join via Meetup.

Gilboa Quarry Days: Want to dive the quarry?  Don’t tell our bosses, but we sometimes ditch work and head to nearby Gilboa Quarry, where we’ll do some diving, do some grilling, and have a lot of fun. The viz clears up wonderfully by midweek, and the quarry is usually empty.

Lake Huron Charters: Is shipwreck diving is your thing?  We do that too!  Call for information and to sign up for one of our monthly Lake Huron shipwreck dive trips out of Port Sanilac.

Do at least one dive for each consecutive month of the year and join the elite (or just plain crazy) Huron Scuba Dirty Dozen Dive Crew!
