Apply your scuba skills as you explore new dive sites and activities with your Instructor. Gain more confidence & capability in the important skills of buoyancy control, navigation, dive planning, & accident prevention!

This course is designed for newly certified divers as well as novice or moderately experienced divers who want to take the next step in their dive education. The course consists of on-site extensive briefings, 6 supervised dives, & debriefings. Required dives: navigation and deep, plus 4 electives.  PADI standards require 5 dives, Huron Scuba always offers 6 (weather permitting).

The PADI Advanced Scuba Diver course includes the first dive towards up to 5 different specialty certifications, so after you complete the PADI Advanced Scuba Diver certification, you may already have one dive credited towards specialties such as Dry Suit Diver, Search & Recovery Diver, Underwater Navigator, Wreck Diver, and Deep Diver! Huron Scuba’s PADI Specialty Diver Weekends will include a variety of these dives as well as exciting specialties such Digital Underwater Photographer, Night Diver, and more.
