Are you looking to join a public safety dive team?  Do you want to serve your community as a diver?  Or perhaps you are just looking to improve your search and recover skills.  With the PADI Public Safety Diver course, you will learn the fundamental skills required to work as a public safety diver or assist local authorities. Through scenario practice in real-world environments, gain experience as the primary diver, safety diver, dive supervisor and in a surface support role.  You will learn how to assess and manage a scene, rescue and recover victims, conduct specialized search patterns, and communicate with team members via rope pulls.

Note that you do not need to be on a public safety dive team in order to take this course.
