PADI Open Water SCUBA Diver
It’s the most exciting feeling imaginable! Breathing while floating weightless underwater and being part of another world. These courses will teach you everything you need to independently scuba dive with a buddy to explore and discover the underwater realm.
This course consists of two parts.
Part 1:
Knowledge Development (Class)
and Confined Water (Pool).
Start things off with eLearning homework, then comes a classroom session, in person with our PADI Professional teaching team to review gear setup, dive planning and a focused review off all eLearning homework to ensure 100% knowledge mastery. We then spend the weekend in the pool learning and practicing skills with our PADI certified instructors.
Choose a Friday evening through Sunday pre-scheduled class (or you can schedule a private class for yourself, with or without friends & family). Since you prepare with home-study (eLearning) in advance, you spend more time in person learning about safe diving practices, scuba gear setup and practicing skills in the pool, all to help prepare you to be a a safe, confident diver.
Part 2:
Certification Dives
Once you complete your knowledge development (class) and confined water (pool) dives, choose your Open Water Certification weekend to get your electronic certification “eCard”.
Once you have completed your certification you will be ready to join us in an Advanced Open Water class, a local fun dive, or on a tropical trip! You can even complete your certification dives on one of our group trips, or by referral at your own vacation destination!

For local or traveling divers! Includes classroom, pool and local open water instruction, Open Water Diver eLearning code, PADI Enriched Air-Nitrox eLearning code, scuba equipment use for pool and open water dives (tank, weights & belt, BCD, regulator set with compass and dive computer, wetsuit, hood, and a bag).
