PADI Rescue Diver

** ALL Huron Scuba Rescue Diver Programs also include the FULL PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty certification ***

This is your first step towards diving leadership, and necessary training to be a responsible diver. This course prepares you to evaluate and cope with hazards, whether they impact you or others, and is great for increasing confidence & safety.

Classroom and confined water training will prepare you for open water exercises, including search patterns and simulated rescues.

Course includes eLearning code, confined water & open water training.

Huron Scuba Rescue Diver program always includes the full PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty certification.

Upon payment of Deposit, you will receive your eLearning code for the Rescue Diver homework and your book for the Emergency Oxygen Provider program.

Prerequisites:

Open Water Diver certification, Advanced Open Water Diver, plus current First Aid & CPR required.

Open water location:

Spring Mill Pond in Island Lake Recreational Area near Brighton, MI.

Equipment provided by student:

Personal snorkeling equipment (must own) and complete scuba diving equipment (may rent or own).

Equipment provided by Huron Scuba:

Emergency first aid and oxygen kits.

Course cost:

$799 per student.

Includes PADI Rescue eCode (self study homework), PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider eCode (self study homework), Instructor-led classroom review, required open water dives, Pocket Mask, Throw Bag and Non-Rebreather O2 Mask,

Deposit:

$400 deposit secures your spot in the program and you can start the homework right away.

Additional expenses:

Equipment rental. Air fills. Park fees (if applicable). Meals, gas, tolls, park / quarry entrance fees (if applicable.)

YOU MUST HAVE ADULT FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING CURRENT WITHIN 2 YEARS TO COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM. Ask for details on how to complete it with Huron Scuba if you are not current.

Classroom session on the Wednesday before open water dives – 6pm until 10pm

eLearning Homework review and Full PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty

Saturday In-Water Session 1 – 8am at Spring Mill Pond, program runs until approx. 5pm

Sunday In-Water Session 2 – 8am at Spring Mill Pond, program runs until approx. 4pm.

Online homework must be completed BEFORE the class on Wednesday for both Rescue Diver and Emergency Oxygen Provider.

Both eCodes are included program price.
