Becoming a PADI dive professional isn’t for everyone.  It requires dedication, hard work, and mental and physical stamina.  Those who pursue it, however, will find the experience incredibly enriching.  You’ll hone your dive skills, meet new people, and share your love of diving with the world.  Whether you go on to lead dives at a tropical resort or help local students learn to explore the underwater world, being a PADI Pro means being part of a global community of people bound together by a shared passion for diving and adventure.  The work is challenging and the days are long.  But the rewards are well worth it!

PADI Divemaster

PADI Divemasters lead dives & dive trips, work at tropical resorts & local dive shops, and assist during training courses. Many DM’s continue on to earn their Instructor rank.

As a PADI Assistant Instructor, you’re authorized to teach all aspects of skin & scuba diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. This is the best possible way to develop your instructional skills. Enjoy the status of a PADI leader!
