DSAT TEC Deep Diver

Dive deeper, dive smarter, and see the greatest shipwrecks while others only read about them in books. Be safer on all future dives with a better understanding of all technical aspects of diving and obtain refined in-water skills. Diving in the Great Lakes beyond 130′ is no place to “wing it.” Do it right, do it when you are ready, and do it with the professional teaching staff of Huron Scuba.

After successful completion of the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course you’ll be able to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives, and accelerated decompression dives using air and enriched air to a depth of 165 feet. You’ll also understand the hazards and risks involved in technical diving, as well as how to prepare for and handle reasonably foreseeable technical diving emergencies.

  • Course includes approximately 16 hours of presentations, dive planning and work on equipment assembly and configuration, both in the classroom and at dive sites.
